AmberGaze — Turning Eye Care into a Premium Digital Experience
AmberGaze sells a concentrated eye treatment for people who are tired of looking… well, tired. My job was to turn a promising formula, a macro shot of an eye, and a vague “we want something premium” brief into a website that actually sells instead of just looking cute on Behance.
Task
Convincing a skeptical beauty audience that this wasn’t “just another eye cream website” while keeping the design bold, premium, and actually able to convert.
AmberGaze had a lab-tested product, one beautiful macro photo of an eye, and an Instagram handle. That’s it. No real brand, no digital structure, and definitely no website that could handle growth. They needed a landing that could convert now, and a system that wouldn’t fall apart when they add new products later.
Before touching WordPress, I abused Figma with too many color tests, shapes and layout variations. The macro eye shot was the hero, so everything else had to support it instead of screaming for attention like a desperate banner ad.
- Shapes & gradients inspired by amber iris tones. No, the first 20 versions didn’t make it.
- Skin-tone blocks and soft curves to avoid the typical “cold medical” look.
- Typography explorations: calm body copy + confident, slightly loud headlines.
- Card layouts for benefits and features — modular from day one.
- Experimenting with dark vs light backgrounds. Dark won. The product glows more, and so does the conversion button.
- Micro-illustrations and icons based on light, focus, and clarity.

The hero had one job: convince tired-eyed humans that this isn’t “just another eye cream.” I used a cinematic close-up of the eye, a warm amber gradient, and a headline that explains the transformation in plain English – not in “marketing synergy” language.
Two CTAs handle both types of visitors: people ready to buy go straight to “Shop Now,” and the skeptics (aka, 90% of skincare buyers) fall into “How It Works.” Everyone moves, nobody gets stuck wondering what to click.
